Dude awesome but how didn't the paper break apart? I can barely use my inks with minimal water use and it can tear or clump up.

Thank you! <3 It's one of those sketch books you get from art stores. :) That paper is normally a bit more sturdy than the typical office printer tissue. Plus, the good thing about acrylics is really that they add layers, so they can be used to make the material you're working on more sturdy.
... Less in this case, this started with ballpoint pen. d:
Wonderful. I'm trying to properly do an underwater shot of the light reflecting on the water & this works for me so much.
Thank you! Water is so tricky to draw, but I've discovered that going with shiny blorbs of color usually does it, good luck with your piece!
Awesome play on the perspective.
Thanks! I'm still pretty nervous about that stuff.
Wow making your own stages for fighting games? Now I need to do my own after seeing what dimensions are needed, thank you XD
No problem. Fyi the dimension for a Waku Waku 7 stage is 650x512.
If the saw wasn't a thing I would've thought it was official Nintendo art. XD
It is official Nintendo art. And this level in Super Mario World (among others) does in fact contain a saw.
It's in the description and elsewhere, but this original artwork is by Yoichi Kotabe. I recreated the assets in Adobe Animate and animated them.
Well a hole is a hole.
Ay man, can't argue
You don't have to know as long as you like it.
well, I love doing this, so...yeah!
Gimp? Wow I'm amazed because I couldn't run it properly, great job.
Yh I used Gimp for years and began my digital art journey with it. It does have it's problems though. One of the reasons I've recently moved to Krita, which is really good so far. Recommended if you want something geared more towards art.
I have a similar looking character but with a leaf over her mouth and 2 large petals forming a cape. Just imagine a Poison Ivy type that was always heroic.
Nice!
The fun thing is that you can just change a couple elements and the character could have a completely different feel!
Great job.
Thanks :)
As someone who grew up with a lot of entertainment media I always wanted to create things, whether it was my own IP's or working on someone else's projects. I just want to create something. It is easy to destroy but it is more fun to create.
